2020 Red Claw Sauvignon Blanc
The 2020 season on the Mornington Peninsula will long be remembered as
a unique year – and not only for the super fine wines it produced. Ripening was even and the wines have great intensity and depth of flavour.
Crisp and crunchy, this Sauvignon Blanc has lovely citrus, florals and a gentle herbal edge.
Winemaker Notes
The fruit was handpicked on 4 March, hand sorted and crushed before it was pressed into tank. Cold settled, the wine was fermented in stainless steel until it was bottled in June 2020. (Alc 13%)
Tasting Notes
Bright, fresh and aromatic, with intense citrus aromas, floral notes and a lovely gentle herbal edge. The palate is crisp and crunchy, with the fruit sweetness well balanced by clean, citrussy acidity.
