Yabby Lake Vineyard is a 50 minute drive from the Melbourne CBD and 10 minutes from Mornington. Public transport to the vineyard is not possible, and thus access to your own vehicle is essential. 

The following opportunities currently exist at our vineyard / winery / restaurant. 

Restaurant Wait staff

A position exists at the winery restaurant in Tuerong, for a dedicated hospitality team member, required to facilitate the delivery of a wonderful wine and food offering in our restaurant. Lunch service only. Weekend work is essential. Full wine training available to help deliver a memorable experience to our guests.

Kitchen Hand

Position available for a hard-working person to join our kitchen team as a kitchen hand. Great working conditions, must be available weekends, lunch service only. Looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and wanting to be a part of the team at one of the peninsula's most awarded wineries.

Vineyard Hand

Yabby Lake is seeking a passionate vineyard worker to join our team. Full time employment, your work and contributions will be rewarded with long-term opportunities within the business. An opportunity for a senior position for the right candidate. 

Our vineyard is worked and cared for by our diligent vineyard team, who take meticulous measures to keep the vineyard at its finest, hand pruning each and every vine during winter, and handpicking the fruit they bear come harvest in the summer. 

Reporting directly to the Vineyard Manager the successful applicant will have the following: 

• A focus on producing premium wine grapes and being part of an efficient workplace 
• Experience operating tractors and vineyard machinery
• Experience with spraying preferred, but not essential
• Enjoy working in the outdoors
• Practical knowledge of viticulture
• Must have own transport

The role will also involve trellis work, irrigation repairs, pruning and general duties across all aspects of the growth and harvest cycle as specified by the Vineyard Manger.
