Current Opportunities at Heathcote Estate

Heathcote Estate is situated in Heathcote in Central Victoria, about 90 minutes drive from Melbourne. 

The following position is currently available at Heathcote Estate:


Vineyard Operator 

Heathcote Estate was planted in 1998, and has established a reputation for award-winning single vineyard shiraz. Our vineyard is family-owned, certified organic and cared for by a small team. 

A new position has become available at Heathcote Estate (Heathcote, Central Victoria) to assist the Vineyard Manager with the day-to-day running of the vineyard.  

Candidates will have an interest in the environment, sustainability and organic viticulture. Ideally candidates will have experience in practical agricultural work, including tractor operations. The role will involve hands-on vine and canopy management, maintenance of vineyard infrastructure and machinery, irrigation systems and equipment.  Qualifications and/or training is an advantage but not essential (training available).

Current Opportunities at Yabby Lake. 

Yabby Lake Vineyard is a 50 minute drive from the Melbourne CBD and 10 minutes from Mornington. Public transport to the vineyard is non existant and access to your own vehicle is essential. 

The following positions currently exist at our vineyard / winery / restaurant. 


Restaurant Waitstaff. 

A position exists at the winery restaurant in Tuerong, for a dedicated hospitality team member, required to facilitate the delivery of a wonderful wine and food offering in our restaurant. Lunch service only. Weekend work is essential. Full wine training available to help deliver a memorable experience to our guests.

Experienced  Casual Chef. 

Position available for a qualified, certificate 3, chef to join our team at the winery. Great working conditions, must be available weekends, lunch service only. Looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and wanting to be a part of the team at one of the peninsula's most awarded wineries.
