Our philosophy is to craft single vineyard wines of great purity and character, reflective of our site and the season in which it was grown. It’s the attention and care in the vineyard that is most critical to allowing this expression.

The 2025 season saw a welcomed return of warm and extended summer conditions, producing full flavoured wines with impeccable intensity and balance.

After a two-year pause, we are delighted to release the 2025 Single Vineyard Syrah - our first since the 2023 vintage.

The wine speaks confidently of its cool maritime origins, revealing vivid blue and black fruits interwoven with spice. Aromas of blueberry, dark plum and blackberries lead into layers of pepper, subtle florals and savoury complexity. The palate is concentrated yet finely detailed, framed by elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish.

A Syrah of depth, energy and quiet power.

Halliday Wine Companion - 96 Points Jane Faulkner

"A region renowned for its pinot noir and chardonnay, yet syrah can come along and steal the show. This is excellent. Floral and spicy, full of dark plums and baking spices with wafts of charcuterie and a hint of meaty reduction. The fuller-bodied palate is coated with beautiful tannins and fine acidity. Youthful and charming today; more complexity to come in another year or so." Jane Faulkner

Winemaker Notes
The fruit was handpicked on 12th April from Block 2 and 3 (sandy loam soils, over callabonna clay). Gently de-stemmed into traditional oak open fermenters. After 14 days on skins, the wine was pressed into tight grain 500L French oak puncheons for malolactic fermentation and maturation. The wine remained in oak for 11 months and was racked once during maturation. Estate bottled late February 2026. Alc 13.5%
Tasting Notes
A perfumed and spicy Syrah, medium-bodied in style. The palate is concentrated and silky, with finely structured tannins, bright fruit characters, wonderful elegance and depth. Stored carefully this wine will age gracefully for ten years.
